A strange amulet that I assembled from mysterious puzzle pieces bequeathed to me by my grandfather- once I had put it together, I found myself in contact with the spirit of an ancient Egyptian Pharaoh. I found that when the stakes were highest in my YuGiOh duels, the spirit would propel me to victory through often miraculous means! Using this ancient spiritual aid, I embarked upon a series of adventures that carried me and my trusty Fire Princess deck through multiple tournaments, dueling for prizes, glory, and even the souls of my grandfather and friends. Just when I thought the stakes couldn’t be higher, I discovered that all of these duels and victories had been mere shadows of a much grander and momentous battle- one which ancient pharaohs, magicians, dark forces and even gods played for the fate of the universe as we know it! Long story short, I kicked all sorts of cosmic arse with the help of my mystical companion, but ended up freeing him from his bond to the amulet to keep the whole cycle from beginning again. I kept the amulet as a reminder of those adventures, but now my wife says she wants me to de-clutter, and it doesn’t match our decor. As such, I must say a final goodbye to what has become just another trinket leftover from my life of adventure in the card shops and dueling arenas of my youth. Perhaps its magic is gone, or perhaps it is just waiting to share its power with a new duelist- clever enough to assemble the pieces and unlock its mysteries, just setting out on adventures of his/her own!
