Large Qing Dynasty Dragon & Phoenix Porcelain Vase in Classic Blue & White 14 3/4 inches tall Widest diameter – 7 1/2 inches Bottom diameter – 5 inches Mouth diameter – 5 5/8 inches Looks to be Qing dynasty. The dragon is four-clawed. A very large and gorgeous piece, but unsigned. The painting is done very well, as if by a master. Repair on the rim, done to be near-imperceptible. The area is shown in the last two pictures. I have over fifty years of experience in working with antique Chinese porcelain. My father had an antique shop before he retired, and most of these items are from there. I examine the items and attempt to show and describe them accurately, including any damages. As these items are very old, I may not be entirely sure of the exact age, or that there are no small damages in discreet places, but I try my best. THREE DRAGON BOWL WITH BLUE WHITE GLAZE LATE MING OR EARLY QING DYNASTY. THIS IS A FINE EXAMPLE OF A FIERCE 3 DRAGON CHINESE BOWL. THE DIMENSIONS ARE: 6 1/4″ DIAMETER X 3 1/4″ HEIGHT. THE BOWL IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION FOR ITS AGE. THERE ARE SOME CHIPS TO THE BOTTOM OF THE BOWL BUT THE COLORS AND OVERALL PRESENTATION OF THIS RARE BOWL IS VERY GOOD. THERE IS A MARK ON THE BOTTOM OF THE BOWL CONSISTENT WITH LATE MING AND EARLY QING. THERE IS ALSO AN OWNERSHIP MARK DRILLED INTO THE INTERIOR OF THE BOWL BY A VERY EARLY OWNER.
